Antonia, The painting is basically watercolor, but I listed it as water media because, before I began the painting, I splattered white gesso over the paper to act as a resist to the watercolor. If you look closely you can see small dots here and there. That would be the watercolor paint being resisted by the gesso. Thanks for you positive comment! Glad you like the painting!
