Thanks Denise and Jack! How that safe filter got on I don't know. I have had this happen before, like automatic! I very rarely ever do any paintings that would require a safe filter!

Like the compostion and I too could not understand the "safe filter" restriction, maybe its a come on?

this was blocked by my safe filter for some reason... i do have it strict but still... i really like this, the shades of blue in the shirts and the texture in the fence is really nice. glad i took a chance and looked past the filter.

Formal education for the artist began in a one-room schoolhouse in York County where on numerous occasions an impatient teacher applied a ruler to his fingers for drawing bunnies when he should have been doing seatwork. Thankfully, a truce was reached with the teacher before any real damage was done. His formal education eventually culminated in post-graduate work with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Education. A teacher and principal for some twenty years, the artist spent the next twenty years as a computer programmer at IBM.
